Long planning horizon
Multi-year status removes the uncertainty of annual visa renewals and lets you commit to housing, education and business setup with confidence.
Two official routes to long-term residency in Thailand. The Thailand Privilege Card (formerly the Thai Elite Visa) offers a privilege-membership stay of up to 15 years. The Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa is a 10-year residency for qualifying professionals, wealthy global citizens, retirees and remote workers. Advisory by Harvey Law Group, with a long-established Bangkok office.
Thailand combines lifestyle, healthcare and connectivity that few destinations offer at the same price point. For international entrepreneurs, retirees and professionals, a multi-year visa removes the friction of repeat renewals and gives you genuine planning horizon.

The Thai Elite Visa was renamed: the programme is now branded as the Thailand Privilege Card, operated by Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Tourism Authority of Thailand). The membership structure and underlying long-stay visa concept have been refreshed under the new branding.
Both programmes allow dependants under conditions specific to each route. Costs and family-member caps differ. Details on each programme page.
Neither programme requires permanent residence in Thailand. The Thailand Privilege Card is built for flexible long stays. The LTR Visa includes a multiple re-entry permit and replaces the standard 90-day immigration reporting with annual reporting — LTR holders must keep meeting the eligibility conditions of their category; we cover this in detail on the LTR programme page.
Processing times depend on the programme and category. We give you an indicative timeline during the initial consultation, once we’ve reviewed your situation.
